About this deal

The Baby Diana 110 recreates this nostalgic toy camera feel, but with modern construction that’s less hit and miss than buying a vintage spy cam. 3. Holga 120N Medium Format Film Camera Here, Lomo has taken the Automat up a notch by offering a Glass lens. It means that the results are much sharper than the plastic equivalent offered in previous incarnations of the Automat. At times, this means that you can get very sharp results - with charming prints in the Instax format. At other times, such as when trying to focus closely, you may find that the results are a little more hit and miss. There’s something delightfully charming about the Wide’s oversized prints: significantly larger than the Instax Mini format found in cheaper instant cameras, yet more of a novelty than the typical square Polaroid prints. Instant film was already niche, and this is another step beyond. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re an instant addict, it’s a good addition to any collection.

A hazy image full of contrast and some distortion might not be acceptable on a modern digital camera, but these are all sought after qualities on a lomography camera. We sent images of our test photos to Polaroid, which confirmed that the picture quality was as expected. The Lomo’Instant is available in four awesome styles and is the perfect size to take wherever you go! It’s the most creative way to shoot fantastic photos which you can share anywhere and with everyone in an instant. Enjoy the beauty of analogue photography and get inspired with this feel good instant camera! Go Wild With Lovable Instant FeaturesAs we’re used to seeing from Lomo cameras, the results from the Instant Automat Glass can be described as “unpredictable”. Some users will find that charming, while others will crave more consistency. You use the lens to turn the camera on or off. Twisting the barrel extends it (and adjusts focus) and brings the Automat to life. Despite sporting automatic exposure, focus is a purely manual affair. The barrel has marks for distant focus, moderate focus (3.3 to 6.6 feet), and close focus (1.9 feet). The lens is a 60mm prime that has f/8 and f/22 settings, matching the field of view of a 28mm prime on a full-frame 35mm camera system. Automatic shutter speeds range from 8 seconds to 1/250-second. The Lomo’Instant Automat gives you sharper images, better low-light performance and a wider field of view than its competitors. Most of the time, exposure is well balanced and you shouldn’t find you need to use the exposure compensation settings all that often. After some time spent with the camera, you should get to know what kind of situations may require it (or otherwise).

The Instax Mini 12 is the perfect camera when you want to capture a moment without having to think about how to do it. And coming in five pastel color options, the camera itself adds to the festive mood. A narrow aperture lens is pretty standard for an instant camera, as almost all models feature fixed or zone focus. The Lomo'Instant Automat Glass is an exception; it uses the smaller Instax Mini format, and because its lens captures an ultra-wide 21mm field of view, an f/4.5 design is possible as focus isn't as critical with such a wide angle. Fans of Fujifilm’s Instax instant film format should pay attention to Lomography. The company has a growing library of cameras that use Instax, all of which offer more creative control than you get with models from Fujifilm. But what if you've got an honest-to-goodness Polaroid camera? The company has been reborn in the 21st century—it's gone through some name changes over the years, from the Impossible Project to Polaroid Originals, but today it's just called Polaroid. The more things change, the more they stay the same.Auto mode lets the camera adjust aperture (f/4.5- f/22), shutter speed and flash output. The Automat has a remote built into its lens cap, so you can more easily take group shots or exposures up to 30 seconds. (It has a tripod mount, too.) Zone focusing helps measure the proper distance for the best shot, and we liked its optical viewfinder. The camera and remote use two different batteries (sold separately). film is much larger than 35mm. The Holga 120N is paradoxically known for its dreamy image quality which makes great use of this medium format film. As it is, there is one built in lens which has a focusing distance of 0.4 metres and is equivalent to 27mm. You can also create multiple and long exposures, and there are coloured gels available in the box for the inbuilt flash.
