When maintaining, the belt should be cleaned, including all of the internal mechanisms of the treadmill, and also lubricate the moving parts and monitor for any loose bolts and screws and tighten if necessary (do not over-tighten). The motor is the same as its sibling so you will find a powerful 2.5HP (1800W) continuous DC motor with a peak power output of 4.5HP (3600W). The price difference between this and the older model is not that great and there was never an issue with the motor so we are confident that this newer model will have no issues using the same tech. If you’re a little taller or larger than most, the JLL S400 is an excellent choice. The folding is… actually not bad! These all make a treadmill a good treadmill. We are looking for more, however. As the name suggests, they have to be properly foldable. They shouldn’t just flatten down a bit. You should be able to fold them up and properly put them away; they should be compact, easy to use and easy to transport, ideally with wheels. This will be great news to runners with longer strides and those who prefer a bit more width for extra peace of mind when running at higher speeds or with weary legs – a welcome improvement.
