About this deal

This is a creamy rose-oud ambery dark scent aiming high profile customers and too good to be in line with its low price. Frank Olivier does surprise us from time to time. With another label the price would be a lot superior.

Now is day 2 and I'm still not so sure about it. It's just a little stinky to me, because I don't personally like the incense. I could only imagine wearing it when around old people or any situation that requires maximum manliness (because I don't have a manlier bottle right now). I'm sure the cold weather would make this even better than the moderate temperatures we are currently having.

I think I like the drydown, which has a hint of vanilla, more than what it starts with. It's more relaxing and not so intoxicating...

It's a perfume that grows on you. It has amazing sweet caramel notes, strong on the rose but goes fantastic with the amber/oud-y note with a nice little vanilla & ample musk to finish it off. Heavy artificial/synthetic smell for the 1st 5-10 mins. Dry-down is just beautiful. I guess this "strong overtone" could be considered a note, but I perceive it is odorless and is the "vehicle" which carries the other notes, especially in the drydown. As soon as we leave, we come across a somewhat complex aroma, pure Frankincense and in several stages. Initially I feel the green Frankincense, with the scent of stems and tanned leaves, then it takes on a scent of resinous gum that, hours later, takes on the aspect of oriental incense burning incessantly. It's not just any incense aroma, it's something balsamic, grandiose and that gradually wraps around. I do like it once it calms down and it softens. I am by NO means disappointed I'm thia blind buy.....but I do think it is one I will have to be in the mood for. It's not that it's hard to wear, it just leans a bit sweet for my current taste. Am I describing the effect of some common modern aroma chemical(s) used to boost longevity or sillage of a fragrance?Basically, this means spraying your perfume on parts of your body that are more prone to heat. Why should you do this? Because your body heat helps you to push out the scent of the perfume all day long. This creates a nice trail of fragrance wherever you go. I also have Ambre Nuit from 2020 and I love that one too. Hopefully it has not become diluted like the new Oud Ispahan. Finally, the reference to the title of my comment remains. Elli Khan is a song by a well-known Lebanese singer, Nancy Ajram. My Arabic is rather basic, but Elli Khan is about a heartbreaking love filled with longings. One fragment of the lyrics is something like: 'How could I live before I met you and how could I ever go on living if you left me'. At the beginning of spraying the perfume, I smell lemon, bergamot, green notes, as well as tangerine, then the beautiful yellow watermelon (melon) note appears with glimpses of vetiver as well as wood, and then the musk scene prevails. In my opinion, Oud Ispahan by Dior is one of the best entries to the world of Oud & perfumery on this planet. This is easily (as mentioned before) an excellent benchmark Oud perfume.

Was recommended to try this and was told it was a Oud Ispahan clone. I own two big bottles of Oud Ispahan and love that fragrance and also own many other rose ouds. So this oud touch was right up my street. Many people like to spray their perfume in the air before walking into it. The notion is that it drops all over their body and keeps them smelling nice. Here’s the truth. Most of the perfume drops to the floor when you do this. If you don’t spray the heat areas, soon, you wouldn’t be smelling nice. Conclusion Here's a selection of the very best oud fragrances for men available right now. And if you want to broaden your scented horizons? Take a look at our guide to the best men's fragrances. Initially, a woody-oudiger smell paired with a light orange-caramel mixture. The longer you wear the fragrance the weaker the scent and it comes out a very nice rose scent.First impressions on a moderate temperature NYC mid spring day indicate it’s not a beast mode, 1 spray under your shirt type of scent. Oud Ispahan is certainly much nicer than this but Oud Touch is VERY GOOD, I’m so happy I have this. I don’t even feel like getting Oud Ispahan for a long time now due to the price, which I think is reasonable for its quality and performance. This is simply delectable, that’s why I wouldn’t mind this on my gf at all. After an hour on my skin it’s nice, caramel, oud, floral notes add an aromatic element… I’ll update on the performance later on.
