About this deal

I think L'Aimant is more similar to Baghari than to Chanel N°5 sharing with Baghari the same joyful feeling. Update: I have to say that in the heat of summer humid days I prefer this one to Chanle No 5 Eau Premiere.

I don't believe it is brand new as there is no cellophane wrapping on it and it looks like it has had a few sprays out of it I bought it as a present for a friend who likes it. I obviously was after "something different", no one from my family ever worn it so I didn't know what to expect.

L'Aimant has that same powderiness, which I suppose is the aldehydes, but the rose and jasmine seem to dominate in my nose, with a warm,, silky musk underneath. I finally broke down and bought the 50 ml parfum de toillete, and waited very impatiently for it to arrive.

It may all be roses and vanilla on top but that chemical opening and something musty if not downright musky going on down below lurk ominously. I have a hard time imagining anyone not finding this one pretty and also versatile for any occasion . I wore Baghari EDP today (newest formula) because I knew they would be similar, and I could try L'Aimant while still wearing Baghari. Experience the enduring charm of Coty L'aimant Parfum De Toilette Spray, a classic fragrance capturing the essence of femininity and sophistication in every spritz. Now settling in, it seems to be a mature relative of my first perfume "signature" - Jovan White Musk for women. The longevity is moderate to weak, but who worries about reapplying when you can get a bottle for €8? This is a delicate powdery floral boudoir scent, with aldehydes that invite you to inhale the freshness and transport you to a romantic atmosphere. Companies with a history like Coty hold a great heritage of happiness, but heritage usually isn’t part of their business model and I doubt it cares. A few days ago, I stumbled upon a bottle of Coty L'Aimant and, since many reviews compare it to the Chanel, I decided to give it a try.

The other bottle in the set was Chypre, which I didn’t like at all – which is not surprising for a fourteen-year-old, but how I wish now that I’d bought it then! L'Aimant is classy, sweet, pretty and although normally I prefer Orientals and deeper statement fragrances, it's just as much a statement to wear softer fragrances like this one. Now this is a cologne concentration so it's not going to be as long lasting or as heavy as an eau de parfum but it has a decent life span and projection. It smells sweet and rather delicious, in the manner of L’Heure Bleue, which in turn was emulating Coty’s own L’Origan (more on that relationship soon, I hope): not entirely gourmand, but both floral and edible at the same time. This was the scent everyone reached for when they didn't know what to choose for an important date/occasion.It's the same scent, but fresher and stronger than the vintage (which may have deteriorated or gone stale? L'Aimant L'Aimant Perfume by Coty is a classic flowery fragrance mixing soft, rich floral scents that is womanly and elegant.

The following conditions may also qualify for VAT relief in some circumstances; Arthritis, Multiple Scierosis, Oedema, Heart Disease, Stroke. Maybe I am the only one or maybe it is because L'Aimant is not as strong as Chanel no 5, so I don't get a headache from it. It is very cheap but smells far more expensive and I think everyone should get a bottle just for the experience of one of the old classics that is still relevant today. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. Whether you’re looking for a new go-to signature scent or you’re after the perfect gift for that special someone, Coty L'Aimant 50ml Parfum de Toilette could be just what you need.I do think most people would get an "old lady" or dated impression from this but if you appreciate vintage scents you'll probably enjoy this. L’Aimant is a pastel pink cloud of unabashed powder, old-school florals (banana yellow ylang, rose and jasmine grandiflorum), and a soapy lather of aldehydes. If I can be honest with you- L aimant reminds me more Guerlain - in this scent I feel bergamot and tonka like Tonka Imepriale.
