About this deal

My daughter is a bit of a nibbler, she likes little and often, she's a bit more reserved about food and she won't readily eat something up. She is regularly invited to collaborate with other brands and celebrities and was the consultant for Joe Wicks’ bestselling Wean in 15 book.

It's something I do talk about in at least two of the books and I think it's just, you know, watching what we say about our own bodies, trying not to have this food hierarchy where some foods are better than others.A literal “How To” book, which supports parents with practical advice and ideas through all of the ups and downs that come with feeding toddlers through these early years.

And for me, it's much more 'Right we are as one' you know, it's not like us and there's a baby that we're now having to sort out and do things slightly differently with.As always, let me know if you have any questions and do send through any feedback by visiting SR Nutrition’s contact page. It’s been something I’ve been working on for almost 2 years now and I’ve really put all my knowledge, experience, love and support for weaning parents into the pages in this book. I devoured this book in a day (in multiple sittings) in-between looking after my four-month-old boy. Not just a recipe book (although the recipes are fab) , but a detailed insight into the psychology of Toddlers eating behaviours. Her instructions are so clear and simple and the photos add such a big visual aid, especially when it comes to textures and sizes.

I loved the first 30 days section as this took a lot of the pressure of thinking about what to try next with my little one. Feel free to use whatever fillings you fancy if you don’t have everything I’ve suggested here: tomatoes and peppers can easily be switched for mushrooms and courgettes, for example. And all of a sudden, it was just such a change, his whole character really changed and it was a really tough time. We hit COVID and he hit three at roughly the same time and he was locked in, had no nursery and dropped naps.

I like the amount of details given for every recipe, because even though it is pretty simple this way you can be confortable even if you forgot absolutely everything else this book says (or don't want to read it). I even include a week’s menu plan, which doesn’t just focus on what to make and when, but also helps you to slot in time for bulk cooking (1. This book is a third in my HOW TO series, but it’s also a little different… What is How to Feed Your Family all about? We really are this kind of family unit now and I'm not saying we weren't before, but I feel like something changes when your children grow just that little bit and you can have more conversation and you eat together and so for me, it's really progressed as I've progressed.
