About this deal

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

I don't know what the other reviews are on about complaining about there not being enough episodes, how many do they think can fit on 2 DVD's and the cost would be a lot higher if they did. Cover blurb: Brookside: Unfinished Business is the high-octane feature-length special that reveals what happens when deadly enemies finally get to settle the score.Harry’s holiday plans are not going at all as planned but things get worse when he comes across Damon Grant about to do a runner from a Torquay café and is left to foot the bill. But even after 2000 there were still a couple of classic storylines like Anthony killing the bully, which is on this DVD.

Notes: This first release of classic Brookside features the episodes 287, 288 and 289 in an omnibus format with break captions and credits edited out (apart from at the end of the tape) and replaced with simple captions inbetween episodes. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. It really transported us back to the good old days of watching 'Brookie' and whilst it is now, of course, very dated, nevertheless it really is a fantastic keepsake of this 'gutsy' much-missed series. Brookside was also the first British soap to feature an openly gay character when Gordon Collins came out in 1985, and it was also the first to depict serious drug addiction with a number of different characters.Turning off the personalized advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. There has yet to be an official announcement for the release, with the exact contents of the 'best storylines' still to be confirmed. Brookside: The Teenagers is also packed full of specially chosen clips from the first 12 years of Brookside featuring many of the series’ top characters from both past and present. Interviews (15 mins): Between 4-6 minutes apiece with Steven Fletcher, Philip Olivier and director Adrian Vitoria talk about their part in this drama. It is especially well-known for broadcasting the first pre- watershed lesbian kiss on British television, as well as a powerful domestic abuse storyline resulting in murder.

ready to meet GibsonThis special is presented in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen, as the programmewas, and looks perfectly fine bitrate-wise although it still suffers from thecomparitively recent decision to “treat something shot on video to look likefilm” when they should’ve left it as it was.Brookside: 100 Greatest Moments” trailer (1½ mins): 15 births, 23 marriages, 24 families, 70 deaths, 2932 episodes.

The 1998 gas explosion episodes are excellent and I am pleased they are included, also brilliant is the murder of Imelda Clough from 2002 which won Best Storyline at the Soap Awards, along with an acting award for Ray Quinn, almost Brookside's last hurrah. Despite all this, Harry Cross is one of the most popular residents on Brookside Close and has been involved in many of the dramas in the history of the series. Brookside’s Most Memorable Moments includes 16 full episodes featuring the most iconic stories with familiar faces like Sue Johnston, Ricky Tomlinson, Anna Friel, Ray Quinn, Amanda Burton and many more! They chat about their times on the show and discuss their favourite memories, their worst moments, what it’s like being a teenage TV star, having two sets of parents, kissing in front of the cameras and much, much more.Cover blurb: Re-live that tense week on Brookside Close in the summer of 1985 when Pat, Sandra and Kate are held hostage at gunpoint in their own home by the distressed and menacing John Clarke, who they had recently met at the hospital garden fete. Oblivious to this drama only a few doors away, Damon Grant organises a seance for some friends but the prank backfires with hilarious consequences. The couple visit Morecambe , with Goth Papadum-packer Jenny (Michelle Holmes), whom Debbie had met at the open day, and her husband, computer programmer Kirk (Ian Ormsby-Knox). The DVD features audio commentaries from senior producer David Hanson and Jimmy Corkhill actor Dean Sullivan on five episodes, and a small selection of extras. Re-live Brookside’s most watched episode ever when the infamous ‘body under the patio’ is discovered.
