When famous author Elena Wdig commits suicide, her twin daughters, librarians Nan and Ana, are lost without her. Elena’s final words suggest that her biographer, Eben, murdered her.

One night, the twins set off to avenge their mother’s death at the National Library of Wales, but are disrupted by night porter Dan, who is unwillingly caught up in the saga.

The film will be introduced by Angharad Jones from Bangor University and writer Fflur Dafydd will be joining us for an exclusive Q&A after the screening.

This film is ideal viewing for Welsh learners of all abilities - come and experience an acclaimed Welsh language feature film on the big screen. 

This screening of Y Llyfrgell/The Library Suicides will be subtitled.

Learners from the Bangor University Welsh for Adults courses will also be in attendance.
