De subtiele humor, de interactie met haar beste vriendin en haar gedachtesprongen brengen luchtigheid in het verhaal, het gevoel dat vliegen haar normaal gesproken geeft is erg mooi omschreven en zodra ze is aangekomen in Schotland komt er meer vaart in het geheel en wil je, mede door de vloeiende en beeldende schrijfstijl, alleen nog maar doorlezen.
